Hwyl Theatre has a revolving schedule of auditions depending on our upcoming shows. As well as actors, we’re often looking for backstage people.

If you are interested in being involved in our 2025 production team of Queen Lear (either a little bit or a lot) please fill out this quick form
We have roles available across the production spectrum in set, costume, stage management, props and makeup to help bring our production to life. All levels of experience are welcome!
Important dates:
The dress/technical runs will be all day Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st September 2025 and in the evening of Wednesday 24th September 2025 at Lyttelton Arts Factory.
Shows will be on the evenings of: Thursday 25th – Saturday 27th September & Thursday 2nd – Saturday 4th October 2025, with the potential extension on each Saturday for matinee shows.
The schedule for these days will be provided a month in advance where possible.
